General information about Corvara

Corvara is a small ski resort. It is located in the Trentino-Alto Adige region in the Dolomites. Corvara is interconnected by a single lift system with neighboring ski resorts: La Villa, San Cassiano, Pedraces. Together, this forms the Alta Badia resort, which, in turn, is part of the giant Dolomiti Superski skiing area. In Corvara, there are two lifts and a 1600-meter slope (together with neighbors 130 km), passing directly through the town. This is a gentle slope for beginners and enthusiasts. You can purchase a ski pass of two types: for skiing on the slopes of 12 Dolomiti Superski resorts or only for skiing in the Alta Badia 5-resort area. They sell them at the cable car entrance. Corvara has many small restaurants, cozy bars, pastry shops, tea, and chocolate stores. Well-prepared hiking trails allow you to enjoy the landscapes and surroundings. You can get to Corvara by train

From major cities, there are Intercity (IC) and Eurocity (EC) trains. From smaller ones, there are regional trains (R or REG). Stop in Bressanone (70 km from Corvara) or in Brunico (38 km away). From there, take a SAD company bus. They run regularly on schedule.

By car

If you are traveling from the south or north on the Brennero motorway (A22), exit at the Bolzano Nord turn onto the regional road SS242 and move to Passo Gardena. From there, follow signs to Colfosco and then Corvara. If you are traveling from Austria, you are doubly lucky. Cross the border with Italy and head to Brunico and then along the SS244 to Corvara. This entire path lies through the picturesque Val Badia valley with breathtaking panoramas.
